Meaning of Life (replaced with PHIL TBD after SU21)Ī quest to decide what the meaning of our lives should be, in critical dialogue with the visions of a meaningful life given by great books of the ancient world. This course provides an introduction to some important ethical theories of past and present times.

Philosophical Ethics (replaced with PHIL 151 after SU21) It counts as the first course for the major and minor in philosophy. This course is required for all students in the university.

Students read selected works by major figures throughout the history of philosophy they are encouraged to think critically and to formulate their own answers to perennial philosophical questions.
